Embracing Miracles: is a non profit ministry that touches the heart through discipleship, and encouragement. We believe God's Word is the solid foundation for equipping and discipleship. When the mind is renewed in truth, transformation in the heart takes place.

Our Mission is to encourage, equip, and resource people along the journey to wholeness.
Vision statement:
Our vision is making disciples for the purpose of loving the Lord with all of their heart, soul, mind, and strength, through classes, confrences, and one on one counceling.
Joanna Pixley is the founder and President of Embracing Miracles. She is a graduate from Christ For The Nations institue in Dallas, Texas. She is licensed to minister, and has served in church ministries for over 14 years including pastoral counceling, childrens ministry, youth ministry, and discipleship groups. Joanna is a published author of childrens curiculum and childrens books. She is a keynote public speaker and enjoys teaching. Joanna is a trained birth coach through DONA International and enjoys currently working as a professional nanny, and her greatest love and joy is being a mother of four.

Jessica LaFavor is the Founder of
Grateful Life Ministries and the Vice President of Embracing Miracles. She is a dedicated mother of three. And has served in Church Ministry for over
15 yrs. Jessica has a Pastoral License through the Church of the Nazareen, and is currently serving as a Children's Ministry Director. Jessica is the Associate Pastor for Soul Harbor Christian Fellowship and is currently serving at the Rochester Outreach Center.
Jessica is a public speaker, a trained coach for Celebrate Recovery and involved in jail ministry for women. She is trained in Theophostic inner Healing Prayer, and is a Anointer /Intercessor for Cleansing Stream Ministry Retreats. Jessica has enjoyed being a certified Doula through DONA International, and is currently attending Crossroads Bible College, studying for a degree in Theology.
